The AN/PAQ-4C has proven to be the dominant military standard IR aiming laser. Activated by an integral momentary switch or by a remote pressure switch, the AN/PAQ-4C meets the most stringent military environmental specifications. Originally designed in the early 90s for military-only procurement, the 4C is now directly available to qualified federal, state, and municipal agencies.
